Job Descriptions

Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Type: part or full time based on applicant's preference
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Diagnosing, treating and preventing speech, language, literacy and swallowing disorders 
  • Creating treatment plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of pediatric and adult clients
  • Working collaboratively with family members and other professionals
  • Supervising SLPAs
  • Keeping detailed records relating to client diagnoses, care plans, treatment and progress
  • Reporting progress to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or other professionals
  • Reacting to changes proactively and problem solving independently
  • Complying with state and federal regulations regarding assessment, treatment and record keeping
  • Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
Professional Qualities and Skills:
  • Excellent coaching skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of speech and language diagnoses, conditions, causes and treatments
  • Skilled in relationship building
  • Must have a client-first philosophy and be family-focused when looking for solutions
  • Open minded and flexible
  • Proficient with technology, especially the use of G Suite products, Zoom, webcams and document cameras
  • Passionate about helping others and expanding professional knowledge
Required Qualifications for SLP:
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology
  • Current Wyoming SLP license (or eligible for Wyoming license)
  • Preferred: CCC-SLP with 3+ years experience & comfortability with providing SLPA supervision
  • Will consider strong CF candidates
